MARION MAY SANGSTER (nee RYAN) Peacefully, on March 23, 2009, Marion Sangster passed away at Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 87. Marion was born on February 13, 1922, in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Reginald Augustus in 1997, her sisters Leona Ryan and Eva Ryan, and her parents Annie May and Thomas Ryan. She leaves to mourn her daughter Valerie. She retired from MacLeod's Home Office in 1986, after 20 years. Prior to that she also worked for Deloitte Plender Haskins Sells, Eaton's, and the Manitoba Sugar Beet Factory. She will be sadly missed by the many friends that she made at the Rotary Villa over the past ten years, as well as the friends and neighbours that she had when she and Reg lived together on Jupiter Bay, the friends that she met through work, and the fun-loving in-laws who welcomed her into their family. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the attentive doctors and nurses on the second floor at the Victoria General Hospital for their caring treatment in allowing Marion to live her last days in dignity. In accordance with Marion's wishes, an informal gathering of her family, friends and neighbours at the Rotary Villa will take place on Thursday, April 2.
